Flip's Review of NFL Week 11 Sunday Games

Broncos Win Late: The Broncos pulled ahead of the Falcons with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Jay Cutler found Daniel Graham in the endzone to complete the comeback, 24-20.


No Winner: It took the Eagles and Bengals 5 quarters to... tie. Shayne Graham had a chance to seal the game, but missed a FG by an inch in the overtime with 7 seconds on the clock left, to end the game 13-13.

What Rivalry?: Ryan Grant put up season high stats with 145 yards on the ground and 1 TD, leading a blowout of the Bears, 37-3.

Colts Rally Late: Petyon Manning threw for a season high 320 yards and 2 TD's, leading four 4th quarter scoring drives in a row, capping a 33-27 victory.

Just Brees-ing by: Drew Brees leads the Saints to a big victory at Arrowhead Stadium, winning a close game, 30-20.

Late FG lifts Raiders: Rookie Dan Carpenter nailed a game winning FG with 38 seconds remaining, to secure a 17-15 nail-biter.
Ravens defense non-existing: The Giants put up 30 points against the leagues top defense, winning 30-10 in a game that was controlled by the Giants ground game.

Home Sweet Home: The Bucs improved to 5-0 at Raymond James Stadium, defeating the Vikings 19-13.

Winless Season Still Continues: The Lions were once again defeated by the Panthers and their duo of young halfbacks, 31-22.

49ers score 28 in the 2nd quarter: The 49ers put up 28 points in the 2nd quarter on the Rams, finishing the game with a 35-16 win.

It's All in The Cards: Cardinals continue their domination in the NFC West. Defeating the Seahawks 26-20.

Titans Stand Strong: Improving to 10-0, the Titans put up 21 second half points, beating the Jaguars 24-14.

Steel Curtain: Despite the snow, the Steelers won the game with 11 seconds left when Jeff Reed kicked it through the uprights, finishing with a bizzare score, 11-10, the first time in NFL history a game ever finished with that score.

Marion the Barbarian and the 'Boys: Barber had 114 yards with 66 yards coming in the 4th quarter during a 10 minute drive that ended the Redskins hope, ending 14-10.

Flip's Preview of Sunday Night Football: Cowboys at Redskins

Though it may only be Week 11, this is a HUGE matchup. For the Redskins (6-3) , winning this game would keep them in 2nd place and still have a chance at surpassing the Giants. For the Cowboys (5-4) , Tony Romo comes back with a whole new situation. Romo has a new WR to work with, Roy Williams, and the Cowboys are currently sitting in the basement of the NFC East. The Redskins will have to win this without leading rusher Clinton Portis. They will look to Ladell Betts to take the load and hopefully tire out the Cowboys defense. Jason Campbell is making a name for himself in the NFL, proving he can hang with the big boys. The Redskins have already defeated the Cowboys this year and will try to stick to the same gameplan used on September 28 when they won 26-24. Tony Romo comes back at a crucial time as he has healed from a pinky injury. Romo will be looked to regroup the team, especially Terrell Owens, who has been mouthing off since he has not been in the endzone as much as he would like. Marion Barber has provided much of the offense since Romo's injury and appears he should get some of the load off his back. Since 2001, the Cowboys hold the series lead over the Redskins, 9-6.

Flip's Player to Watch: Demarcus Ware - He has made a living getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks, with 10 sacks through 9 games. Im expecting Jason Campbell to be eating the turf tonight.

Clem's Player to Watch: Tony Romo -He has been out for 3 games and with his absence the Cowboys have stuggled greatly. Look for Romo to give the Cowboys new life.
